In the world of wallets, we hadn't seen anything new in decades. Today, cash is used infrequently while debit and credit cards have become the payment standard. Finally, a company in Holland has decided to take their leather to the next level. Secrid has engineered a unique line of wallets; all engineered to provide easy access and scanning protection for your cards.
The Secrid Cardprotector is a sleek aluminum casing that holds anywhere from four to six cards. While inside the case, the cards are protected from bending and breaking as well as RFID and NFC scanning. To access them, all you have to do is pull the lever on the bottom, and they slide out of the top. Simply pull out the card you need or tap it on a chip scanner. Finally, Slide the cards back into the Cardprotector, and you're on your way.
The Slimwallet adds a more traditional tri-fold encompassment to the Cardprotector. The leather folds give space for two more pockets and a cash slide.
Secrid's Miniwallet is a slightly larger version of the slim wallet with a snap buckle for a more secure hold on the contents. All of the leather sourced for the Slimwallet and Miniwallet comes from Europe where it is harvested and crafted under the most humane and ethical working conditions. There's even a 'Recycled Leather' line made from the small leather pieces left over during the manufacturing process.
The Cardslide is another one of Secrid's wallet designs that add versatility to the Cardprotector. the Cardslide combines a high-impact metal case which is secured to the Cardprotector with Secrid's Moneyband. The metal case is ideal for smaller items such as cash, receipts, or business cards. When the Cardslide is attached to the CardProtector via the Moneyclip, it becomes optimal utilization of convenience and speedy design. The Moneyband acts as a flexible money clip under which you can slide cash and receipts.
Despite how attractive these wallets are, Secrid designed them with one flaw. They work so well, they're so efficient, that it cuts down on the time we get to show them off. What a shame. Wallets by Secrid now sold at Travel Country Outfitters.
